Questions I hear most often
How much does a certified translation cost?
Prices are indicative — you always get an exact quote after sending the document. One billing page equals 1125 characters including spaces. Extra stamps: from 20 zł. Non-standard documents are quoted individually.
What is a billing page?
A billing page is the accounting unit for a certified translation: 1125 characters including spaces. It is not the same as a physical page of the document — a short document may take less than one billing page, a densely filled one more.
How long does a certified translation take?
In standard mode, usually by the next business day. An express mode is also available — same day, with a surcharge from +30%. The exact turnaround depends on document length, language pair and current availability — I confirm it together with the quote.
Is a photo or scan of the document enough?
A photo or a scan is enough for a quote, with no sign-up and no obligation. I usually send the quote back within 20 minutes during office hours.
How do I collect the finished translation?
In person at the office at Targowa 66 — free of charge. Or by courier: InPost (parcel locker) or Poczta Polska, for an extra fee. We also ship translations abroad.
Will the interpreter come to a notary or to court?
Yes. Court hearing, notary, civil registry office, police station — I accompany you in person wherever a sworn interpreter is required. I confirm the date within 20 minutes of your enquiry.
Do you help with a power of attorney at a notary?
Yes, as a complete service. It includes drafting the power of attorney, the sworn translation, and arranging and coordinating the notary appointment — with no need to look for further specialists yourself.
